Why EDUCATION ?

If we want to effectively tackle challenges like healthcare gaps, poverty, population growth, unemployment, and human rights issues, the most powerful starting point is ensuring access to quality education for children in need.

Education not only equips children with knowledge and skills for a secure livelihood but also shapes them into responsible and aware citizens who can contribute positively at both national and global levels.

From a data perspective, the challenge is still significant. According to various government and UNICEF reports, millions of children in India either remain out of school or drop out before completing their basic education, particularly in rural and economically weaker sections. Studies also show that each additional year of schooling can increase an individual’s earning potential by around 8–10%, highlighting education’s direct link to reducing poverty and unemployment.

To address this, the Government of India implemented the Right to Education (RTE) Act in 2010, making education free and compulsory for all children aged 6 to 14 years. This landmark legislation aims to ensure universal access to elementary education and reduce social inequalities.

Educating one child has a multiplier effect—it uplifts families, strengthens communities, and drives long-term national development. Therefore, investing in education is not just a social responsibility but a strategic solution to multiple societal challenges at once.

What we Do ? (Education For All Program)

Sanskriti Jan Shikshan Sanstha’s flagship programme, Mission Education for all, is dedicated to empowering underprivileged children by ensuring access to quality education, along with nutrition and basic healthcare support. The programme is designed to promote holistic development and create equal learning opportunities for every child.

Aligned with India’s New Education Policy (2020) and Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), the initiative focuses on building an inclusive and equitable education system for children from marginalized communities.

Mission Education for all reaches children aged 3 to 18 years who are living in challenging conditions — including children from economically weaker families, differently-abled childrens, disaster-affected communities, orphaned and street children, Childrens affected by child labour as well as childrens residing in rural areas and other hard-to-reach regions.

Through this programme, Sanskriti Jan Shikshan Sanstha aims to not only educate children but also nurture their overall well-being, enabling them to grow into confident, self-reliant, and responsible individuals.
